a year of bg3 and dragon age brainworms really pulled me back into art huh

and it got me back into art in a way kid me would LOVE. i can draw couples, paint big illustrations, make paper dolls and play dress up with them if i wanted. I can make stickers or prints or design a t-shirt if i want one. i'll make blorbo playlists, draw a cover for them, collage a moodboard and get unnecessarily wax poetic about it.

and it's fun. it's just so ridiculously fun. i shed the cynicism before entering this house. i am cringe but holy fuck am i free.

A small update

Hey babes, been a while! March was an incredibly stressful time so my art was the first thing to take the hit. But I'm here to let you know things have calmed down (I have a full time contract finally and other stuff is chill again, my anxiety can fuck off).

So I'm back!

I'm keeping my goals here simple: Hades art, more Dragon Age art and the occasional stray cat I find in other media that I wanna draw (Majima I'm looking at youuuu). I'll also take part in a fun zine and I'm excited to share more about that in the future. You know the drill, where the vibes go I follow.

I'd love to try my hand at making a simple tutorial about how I do art studies soon. Quite a few people had questions about both the DAI tarot inspired art and my Leyendecker studies, so I'm thinking of what I can do in my limited free time. 👀

On a personal note, I spent winter holidays recovering from overworking, meeting people, catching up on more work and spending the last week with an an intense cold (yippie!).

I had hopes to draw more personal art - there's so much rookanis brainrot in my mind rn, I need to get them on paper ASAP - but that didn't pan out.

Next week I should wrap up my final side project and that will give me time for brainrot to take the wheel. I miss the crows so much!

I also miss my fav tiefling menace. And her questionable totally-not-boyfriends.

Needless to say there's a lot I want to draw and I'm starting the year excited about it. Looking forward to more shenanigans in 2025!
