Day two of #worlddoulaweek and Katie shares about her mentors: April Howton and Tori Dennis are my forever mentors. Not only did they support me through my own pregnancies but they have encouraged me each step in my doula work. They have served me in ways that they did not need to because they love so big. They went way beyond in their roles as my childbirth educator, doula, midwife, and doula trainer just because. I am forever grateful and try to live up to their example. They have both changed directions in birth work and gave me ginormous shoes to fill but their legacy lives on everyday!
