Nejire blinked, canting her head slightly to the side. She saw him looking at her and assumed he was staring, though honestly now she was second guessing that. But either way, she had already said it.
Gently smooches her cheek.
The look she loans him is incredulous; having only partially participating in the conversation with him as she stared out into empty space. Maybe he did say that he was going to press a kiss her, and maybe she did say “okay.” Eyes wide, mouth hanging agape much like a fish.
