It felt like he had been walking for ages... Since the Gym still wasn’t fully renovated in Nimbasa yet he’d decided to make his way to the next city and was currently traversing the route nearby to try to train properly for the other gym. Though with how long it had taken him to fully recover from his trip through the desert he was still trying to take things a bit easier than he had been. Which was why he tensed as he swore he felt something watching him...

There goes her warm Pika-hat plan. She seemed to have angered the poor thing.

“Yeep! You can talk?!” Himashi, what are you being surprised for? You’re an alien.

She sheepishly crouched down, gently lifting Chu off her head and setting her back onto the ground. “Ehe...sorry! Just wanted t’ play a little, uh-huh.”

Sorry about her. She’s just...like that.

The pikachu's eyes were sparkling as she looks up at him. "If it wasn't for you and the others... I'd still be stuck in that forest!"

Grovyle couldn’t be sure what was worse; the sudden spark of adoration in the small electric type in front of him or the fact that the guild’s crew were going around and telling ‘the story’ to possibly everyone willing to listen... or not. 

And only Arceus above knew what exactly they were saying.

There was nothing glorious in the way they had to fight for their survival or anyone else’s, nothing pretty about it. It wasn’t... wasn’t something they would be as eager to share had they really been there. Not knowing how to react to the sudden onslaught he settled for a rather awkward neutral reply.

He blinked in some surprise as he gazed down to see that a Pokemon had picked them up and was holding them out to him, carefully bending down and taking them with a warm smile before he cleaned them and placed them on with shaking hands so he could read the map he had. It was hard for him to see small print after all.

“A-ah? T-thank you... I-I must have d-dropped them when I was g-getting the map...”

When she replies, her voice is warm and mellow. “I do believe I would know a way dear, Do you want some help getting there? I’m sure Finn won’t mind if I help you.” She looks back at the human, then to the Pikachu before her, “You may call me Duchess by the way, Do you have a preferred name?” The people on around them were giving the pair a fair bit of room, though that was more than likely due to how much space the aggron was taking up.
