SHOCK WAVE 2, directed by Herman Yau, starring and produced by award-winning actor Andy Lau (HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS, INFERNAL AFFAIRS).

The film chronicles the riveting story of former bomb disposal officer, Poon Shing-Fung. Suffering from amnesia and the loss of his leg in an explosion five years ago, he becomes the top suspect of a terrorist attack.

Directed by Herman Yau (SHOCK WAVE, IP MAN: THE FINAL FIGHT) and written by Herman Yau, Erica Li, and Eric Lee, the film stars Andy Lau, Sean Lau, Tse Kwan-Ho, and Ni Ni. Filming was shot on location in Kowloon, Hong Kong and Kam Tin, Hong Kong. SHOCK WAVE 2 is produced by Li Jie, Esther Koo, Alvin Lam, Daniel Lam, Siu-Ming Lam, Andy Lau, Qicheng Li, Yisheng Yang, and Cai Zhijian.

SHOCK WAVE 2 will be premiering On Demand in North America on November 2, 2021.

@slashfilmfest day 3 🖤🖤🖤 when hong kong action cinema has to rely on cgi fx and their action choreography seems a bit... stale... well, then it is probably intended to be remade by hollywood. and also not the best of its genre. evidence: SHOCK WAVE 2. amnesiac cop storyline didn't help either. 👮🏻‍♂️🐈💣😵💣💣💣🚝 even though THE FEAST [GWLEÐÐ] telegraphed its entire plot within the first 15 minutes and even though the symbolism in its characters was anything but subtle... despite all features a captivating atmosphere, great actors and a satisfying folksy horror-vibe. note to self: i like the sound of welsh. 🏞️🚗🌊👻🩸🩸🩸 communing with nature via sounds and lights and psychoactive substances to prevent cataclysm? julian cope would be proud. not a big film, but a good one not to miss. 💡🔊💡🔊🌲🌲🌲🤯 and finally...
