Boots anon again, I hope you don't mind ;v; would you say that I could possibly coord the boots with a black/mostly black dress? Or that I could maybe embellish them to make them more sweet with bows or pearls? Sorry for asking so many questions!

I think working them into Classic with a black or otherwise dark colored dress would be the best way to go. Based on the overall style of the boots I don’t think they would suit Sweet very well even if you added embellishment.

Possibly. I think it would be a bit difficult but it is possible. I see them more as Gothic but with a hint of Classic which is why I mentioned Classic before. They definitely aren’t going to work with every Classic coord but they could work with some.

For christmas, my mom bought me some boots that are very similar to bodyline's SHOES276 in black, that go to my knee, buying them for lolita. Once the newness wore off, though, I realized it may not fit the aesthetic I want? I want to wear sweet lolita, but the shoes look very gothic. Do you think I could wear them with sweet?

I think they would be very difficult to work into Sweet because they do have more of a Gothic/Classic look. I would personally just sell them and use the money to buy shoes that suit your preferred style better. Or you could just wear them outside of Lolita because they’re still pretty nice boots.

Would bodyline L507 in green look okay with black shoes? Also, could shoes276 be used for classic, or are they too clunky?

I think that skirt would look fine with black shoes but I would maybe slip a little bit of extra black in the coord somewhere, even if it’s just something really small like a brooch or necklace.As for the boots, I’m really not sure how I feel about them. I think the thing I don’t like about them for Classic is how high up the leg they go. I think shoes275 would work a little better. They’re exactly the same design except for being a bit shorter in the leg which I think will help them work better in Classic. They're a little clunky and they definitely wouldn't be my first choice, but I think they're workable.
