Affirmations Go A Long Way...

…Especially when living a healthier lifestyle. I began my journey to a healthier lifestyle over a year ago. I will admit, there were (and still are) many days when I want to give up. But, I think back to where I was and vowed that I will live better by doing better. I would write affirmations everywhere as a way to motivate me to keep moving through my lifetime journey. Sometime later, it hit me that maybe I could stamp affirmations on my jewelry. What a great idea! I began doing that then realized, sometimes I don’t want to wear my jewelry during my workout. Don’t get me wrong, as the creator of my jewelry, I KNOW it holds and lasts however, it should still not get wet. Where else was I going to place my affirmations? I was jogging (and trust me, it took a while to get up to a jogging pace) and was looking down. I was so tired. Ready to turn around and go back home, I realized I could put my affirmations on my sneakers. That is how my shoe tags came about. Sometimes, we need the extra push, a giggle, or a reminder to keep us moving. I hope you enjoy the tags as much as I do.
