Personalization Prompt #1 – Shohei

So, for the reader appreciation day of the event, I used the first personalization prompt for the wonderful @shoheiakagi! I know I’ve said it before, but their blog is definitely the K blog I check out most, their views on some of the K characters have definitely influenced how I write them, they’re a very chill person to talk to, and just a really wonderful and supportive person to this admin and blog! So, I hope they’ll enjoy this little prompt, set in the K Project universe 😊

Siblings: None! Like, honestly, none – no canon siblings, no non-canon siblings. You’re an only child, though you do have two loving, if somewhat overprotective parents.

Best friend: Eric, Kusanagi, Kamamoto Frenemies/Enemies: I do see you occasionally butting heads with Yata, Bandou, and Chitose all at some point, but it’s more or less friendly bickering and you get along with them. I don’t see you getting along with Fushimi or most of Scepter 4, other than Seri, at all though. Especially Fushimi, who you think is just an asshole, and you kind of feel like Munakata is a little creepy. Crushes on You: I do see Bandou having a bit of a thing for you at one point, mostly because Shouhei did and Bandou likes to compete a bit with his friend. I do think your friendship with Eric can turn kind of flirtatious, and there was some interest on both sides for a little bit but I can’t figure out for sure whether the two of you hook up before you get serious with Shouhei or not, so I’ll leave that decision up to you. First Romantic Relationship: You definitely did have a life before meeting these guys, so I do figure it was someone from your past, a non-canon guy who you probably aren’t really too much in contact with anymore. Lost Virginity To: Again, the answer is pretty much the same as above. You had a life prior to meeting the guys, you aren’t completely virginal and innocent when you meet them, and probably lost your virginity to a guy in your past. Whether you are still in contact with that person or not is up to you. Married/In A Committed Relationship With: While the relationship really takes a while to get started and just gradually becomes more serious the more time the two of you spend with each other, I do see you and Shouhei starting to date and that’s the end pairing in this little scenario/story. Cockblocked by: Bandou and Chitose do it on purpose, but almost all the other HOMRA members, minus Kusanagi and Mikoto, have all accidentally cockblocked you and Shouhei. Affiliation: I don’t see you being an official member of HOMRA. There might have been some ‘should we’ talk among the boys about possibly encouraging you to join but at the end of the day, you’re just not someone who would really be happy living a really violent gang life and it’s more that you’re just friendliest with HOMRA and that’s where you feel most at home.

Special Abilities: You’re not really part of any clan, so you don’t have many special abilities. I’ve played with the idea of having you be a Strain like Maria, but then there’s the possibilities of Scepter 4 taking you away in that case…really, it would be interesting story-wise, so I do like it. It could go either way, with you having no special abilities, or you could be a Strain with mild psychokinetic abilities in my head.

5 Headcanons About Your Life:

You work for a large company in the Human Resources and people management division, normally working from an American office. However, due to a shortage of workers in the Shizume Town location ends up with you getting transferred to the office over there, because in this story, you’re fluent in both Japanese and English.

You settle in pretty well, make some friends at work, and it’s a coworker who first takes you to Bar HOMRA. You really end up liking the bar and you start to frequent it on your own, which is how you end up getting to know the guys. The more often you come in, the more of them you meet and end up talking to and the more they start opening up to you and growing friendships with you.

Eric and Kusanagi can both hold fully English conversations with you, a fact they both enjoy, though it can annoy the other guys to be so excluded from a conversation. I do see Dewa and Shouhei both practicing their English skills with you.

Anna ends up really taking a liking to you and starts to regard you as almost an older sister like figure and she really likes it whenever you agree to spend time with her, especially when you take her out shopping. While she definitely has a very set fashion taste that doesn’t change, I can see her kind of innocently wanting to get some of your favourite things herself in terms of jewelry, accessories, bedding and such to kind of be a little more like you.

All the guys start to take you under their wings and almost all of them play tour guide in one way, either suggesting places you really need to check out or mostly each of them offering to take you out on one of their days off and to show you around. It’s really fun since each of the guys is so unique that they all end up showing you completely different things and it’s through them doing that eventually that you’re able to really solidify these friendships. However, it’s definitely Chitose and Dewa together when Chitose offers to play tour guide, just because Dewa’s not trusting him alone with you, knowing his best friend.

So, for the reader appreciation day of the event, I used the second personalization prompt for the lovely @shoheiakagi! As always, their blog is definitely a recommended K blog for any fans and the person themselves is wonderfully supportive! I hope they’ll enjoy 😊

BLACK: what face claim from an anime, comic book, or cartoon do I associate with you?

So, though you’re Lenalee Lee in The Ever Young, when it comes down to the image of you I have in my mind, the closest face claim I could come up with was Nana Komatsu. I don’t know much about the character themselves, I’ve mostly just seen the amazing artwork of the manga, but she has the colouring and the sort of elegant but sweet ‘good girl’ look to her I imagine you having.

WHITE: what flame type and box weapon do I think you’d have in the khr!verse?

Hmm, this was a fun one to think about for you, especially since KHR isn’t a universe I’ve pictured you in a lot, as it’s not one of the fandoms we share in common! I do think you’d be a Cloud Flame user though, with your box weapon animal being a pair of swans, one white and one black! I’m using both just imagery and the spiritual meaning behind swans and I think it’s a pretty cool box weapon for a cool person 😊

RED: what aesthetics do I associate with you?

High heels clicking along crowded city sidewalks. Head held high, confidence and elegance. Imagination and longing for something beyond just this one life. Pastels and sweetness combined with wicked grins. Angels and demons, the juxtaposition of good and wickedness. The draw of a danger. Remembered love. Freshly manicured fingernails. Cocktails. Velvet and steel, softness and strength. Concerts, packed full of people, the energy at an all time high.

I see you as the next head of CEDEF. You stand apart from the family, but are a strong and supportive resource for them whenever you’re needed and your intelligence and good leadership skills allow you to supervise and recruit people into the division.
