Clayton @shonk tweeted an animation, 24pi, that really caught my eye, . Lovely interactions and symmetry, and so much to generalize. I think his original is about N=5, M=4, s=210 deg. But there's a lot here to explore, so here it is on GeoGebraTube.

Some of these look to me like they could be the start of Dr. Strange special effects.
