#NTWEWYSN <-- (SN = Social Network) Will be a new hashtag for this series. The shopkeepers are honestly so damn interesting that I want to make a series on them just for pure fun. 💖

I think I like the red one more but it was frustrating that I did all that coloring for nothing. Lol. So here are 2 versions!

I also made little video & put up the character profiles. Also sorry for the shotty filming. I'm left-handed and have zero coordination. Also, they sing Tatakai (the son in the vid) in my headcannon. Fight me.

AC shop keepers

I already posted Tom and the Nooklings, but here are the others in this series.

I’ve noticed a lot of people draw these characters young, but given how long AC’s been running for, I figured it’d be more fun to imagine the characters as their actual age. With Tom being somewhere around his late 20s in the original, I put him nearing fifty as of New Horizons. The Nooklings being perpetually 10 kinda contradicted with the idea, but it was fun all the same.

The Able Sisters

Starting with the oldest, Sable canonically grew up with Tom, so I figured she’d be around the same age. All the the work has taken it’s toll on her, leading to greying hair before either of the others. Ironically, Sable is the tallest, but her poor posture and closed off body language make her appear smaller.

Mable of course is the youngest. I’ve put her at around 40, but that hasn’t stopped the laughter lines coming through, not that she minds at all. At heart, this sweet girl may as well still be in her teens.

And last is Label. Even though she’s the middle child, she is often mistaken as the youngest, on account of her always in make up and having the best skin care routine. No wrinkling here!

Crazy Redd

This sleazy old sod is easily the oldest of the shop keepers. Old Redd with his experience of swindling the unsuspecting is on the older side in his 60s. Don’t be fooled by his smile, he’s got plenty of paintings and I don’t think he even knows if any of them are real.
