44 Bikes Metal Shop // - Phase 1 of the 44HQ Metal Shop Redux is complete. New metal roof is 99% done. I need to remove the board and battens this spring on the facing side of the shop to finish adding underlayment, begin wrapping the structure in Tyvec home wrap, adding a layer of insulation to the foundation, build boxes along the rake of the roof line and add fascia boards along with a few details. Then put it all together again with some new board and batten here and there so things look more “finished”. My roofer will return and add some end caps to finish the roof off. Then stain the shop a deep chocolate with cream trim (no more green detailing). But for now, she’s got a new dandy blue roof. - Bonus critter crash landing pictures too.
