The only thing that Leon snacks on.. other than you.
With a bit of confusion you turned your head to face the doorway leading to the kitchen after hearing Leon call out your name. Setting the book you were currently reading on the couch, you turned your attention fully to where he was, spotting his tall figure. "Yeah? What happened?" A soft concerned hum left your lips, and without an answer you asked once more, "Leon? Are you okay?"
You heard the continuous clattering of items in the kitchen, furrowing your brows you decided to get up from the comfortable position you were in, legs tucked in, keeping yourself cozy underneath the blanket. Throwing the blanket aside you stood up, making your way towards the kitchen.
Peaking through the wooden doorframe, you watched as Leon opened cabinets full of food and snacks, leaving the cabinets ajar before he turned seeing you peak. "What happened Leon? Did you lose something?" you asked, chewing the inside of your cheek as you walked closer to him.
"The Oreos I bought.. they're gone.." Leon stared at you with the straightest face he'd ever gave, while you stood there absolutely stunned. Just as you were about to burst out in laughter until you realized how you were the suspect of the missing Oreos of Leon Scott Kennedy.
Leon was gone for about a week in a mission in another country, and just before that mission you both went grocery shopping and the only thing he probably bought with contentment would be the box of Oreos with 9 packs and when he was gone, you grabbed maybe a few packs as midnight snacks, binging your favorite TV shows—without even noticing how you already finished the whole box within the week. It was on your to-do list to get another box before Leon came back but it just got buried along with your other piled reminders.
Now there you were, standing in front of Leon guilty as charge. Other than the meals you cook for him, he would never snack on chips or candies, it was always just the crunchy chocolate cookies with the white filing this 49 year old man obsessed over.
"Okay uh.. Leon.." you muttered with a guilty expression on your face, standing in front of him with the best posture you could, pursing your lips in attempt to think of a good reasoning.
He suddenly crossed his arms over his chest, staring at you while raising his brows as if he was interrogating one of the bad guys in his line of work.
"I ate the whole pack when you left because it was my only snack! I said I was only going to have one but then I just.. It was delicious.. I'm sorry.." you confessed with a small pout, looking in to his eyes with the puppy-eyed gaze.
Leon's stern look faltered his lips curled into a small grin, letting your puppy-eyes get to him. "We're going to the grocery." "It's twenty minutes away Leon!"
