Shadow doodle I made when Ghost and I went to go see Sonic 3 the weekend it came out. I need to buy it so I can watch again. He's too fucking cute.
Also I bought this jacket from Hot Topic specifically for the day we went to go watch it because I forgot my little Shadow plushie and hoodie at home and NEEDED something Shadow merch to take with me.

OC lore time!
I haven’t posted a whole lot about my oc / sona other than some art since the initial concept art stages. Here’s some fun facts & behind the scenes!
Shouhei’s design started off being a yokai hybrid of nekomata + dragon, but then eventually made slight alterations to be kitsune + dragon instead. I felt that the cat parts looked almost too fox-like and it ended working out really well for building his lore.
Not only he is a hybrid of two totally different yokai but he has the ability to shape shift between forms as well, thanks to the kitsune side of him. While in his dragon form, he unlocks more abilities such as flying. Maybe he sounds a little op as an oc but in terms of yokai, he’s definitely not the strongest. A lot of power and tricks, yes, but that’s all he really has.
As far as kitsune power, he definitely has room for improvement. He’s essentially he’s the equivalent of adolescence in kitsune years, as shown by his number of tails. Compared to other white holy shinto kitsune, also known as tenko, he still has a ways to go in terms of skill.His dragon traits come from a variant called tatsu, a dragon that lives in the mountains or bodies of water and avoids humans.
Shouhei descends from tenko kitsune (mother’s side) as well as tatsu dragon (father’s side). However, he doesn’t truly know his parents or their origins. He raised himself at abandoned shrine ruin until he eventually left to seek out human and/or yokai society. To integrate himself a little easier, he often takes form of a half human appearance.
Other than that, he just kinda vibing like me lmao. I like to insert him into some crossover shit for art n whatnot. A self insert of sorts aside from yokai folklore.
Might still build more on his lore over time or make changes. Not 100% set in stone yet.
