How are you guys I miss you how's life?
"The difference is my flaws are personal. Yours are professional."
There’s a large part of him that wants to say thanks. In an entirely sarcastic way. Instead, he faces Becker head on, raised brow, and a just so slightly angered expression.
He’s not actually sure whether he’s angry or not.
"You think your life is worth less than the lives of those around you. That’s pretty professional." Because it makes him put his life on the line, and that, in their jobs, is professional.
damnthecretaceous: Matt would totally be the guy who gets in a shipwreck and ends up on the island like "are you fucking shitting me"
matt-andersons: An apt metaphor for his life, really.
matt-andersons: Cast Away AU, in which Wilson is played by Becker.
matt-andersons: Matt draws a smiley face on a coconut shell and calls it Becker.
Matt and Becker. Inspired by this post with shouldhavedonebetter. Becker doesn't have time for Matt's jokes. I made up the dialogue, oops.
I might clean this up and color it, someday.
A Willing Gamble | Matt & Becker
"Is that really a gamble you're willing to make?"
“Oh yeah. If you’re good for it.”
"Of course I'm not good for it! I'm not gambling with your life! Get back here now!"
"You're the one always going on about never leaving the ARC without back-up and now this? You're really starting to call the kettle black here, Beck."
shouldhavedonebetter:
“That’s not the question. The question is if you trust me to do my job.”
"Trust goes both ways, Becks."
"But you already have mine."
shouldhavedonebetter:
”I could’ve sworn I gave them to you… .”
"Great. We've lost diictodons. How do we lose a diictodon?"
