Akuji, the crazy frog lady who thinks she's a scorpion.

Akuji's design is based off the Harlequin poison frog, and her personality is...well ok yeah it's inspired by Harley Quinn because I looked at the frogs name and just went "yup Harley is the inspiration now."

Akuji was born in the Amphibilands; she was born a Kulipari. (her grandmother was one, but that whole thing skipped a generation and got passed down to Akuji instead of her father.) Akuji's existence was unknown for the short time she lived in the Amphibilands, due to her parents being incredibly paranoid individuals who stayed far away from everyone else. Akuji's parents fears got so bad one day that they whisked her away and fled the veil, fearing that Marmoo would soon come for them, and hoping to get far away from the Scorpion Lord before he launched his invasion. Unfortunately, Akuji's parents were captured, and eaten, by a scorpion scouting party. The leader of the party pitied Akuji, who still had a tail at the time, and decided to take the frog in. They convinced Marmoo that, since Akuji was a kulipari, she could be raised and trained to work for Marmoo, which in turn would devastate the morale for the Amphibilands when Marmoo took it over and enslaved the frogs (which didn't happen, but y'know, that was the plan.) Growing up Akuji eventually forgot about her parents, being raised to be a deadly fighter for the scorpions instead of a protector for the frogs. Akuji began to believe she was a scorpion; one who's shell just never hardened. Akuji usually parades around wearing the tail of a dead scorpion, often refreshing the poison in the stinger by tainting it with her own Kulipari poison, which she sometimes uses in combat, though it's mostly just to help fuel her delusions. Akuji mostly either fought for the armies entertainment, guarded prisoners or joined scouting parties; all of which was done at a very young age, though when Marmoo was defeated for a second time and the army scattered, Akuji left for Cardigal, spreading her chaos in the city of crime. Akuji is a few years older than the triplets (I have no idea what the exact age is but yeah) and matured quickly due to being a Kulipari. Akuji's weapon of choice is a mace, which she treats like a baby and uses in a trigger-happy manner, jumping at any opportunity to smash something or whack someone.

So yeah she's just like unhinged and delusional and kinda whacky but she can be goofy and dramatic idk <3
