Happy WBW! Hope this ask finds you in good health. For the non-human creatures in your universe, are there any altercations to clothes that are made/are there specific garments different species wear more comfortably?
Happy WBW! Resists the urge to lore dump about Lizardfolk YET again.
For this one, I'll talk about Akuji because I haven't talked that much about them, and that's unfair lol. But for this, you'll need a bit of context. Akuji are the offspring of Faefolk and Dragons, but they basically get all the less desirable features of both groups. Now you might be thinking, Well, that can't be so bad, Nopal! Allow me to dispel that belief lol.
My Faefolk are not fairies or anything like that. They're basically chimeras with very insect and alien-like features. Their most notable traits are having many eyes (usually five or more) and being ash white. They're also very tall, somewhere between 9-13ft, and mostly muscle, so they appear very lean. These guys also glow in the dark at their extremities, hands and feet, etc.
On the flipside, my Dragons take a lot of inspiration from nighttime insects, birds, and bats. They come in all varieties (Eastern and Western designs) and colors but will usually have some translucent limbs or features. They're a little trickier in terms of height because they have two forms: humanoid and draconic, but in their humanoid form, they are about 14-15ft tall.
SO, now that you know all of that, you can imagine that Akuji are pretty ugly lol. Like I said they get all of the worst parts so they really do look like abominations. Here is a description of The Third Imperial Prince from AASOAF 1 for sauce:
He was terrifying to behold, with his sharp and somehow twisted-looking features. He bore one eye of a bright green and the other of pale gold. His skin, hair, and all other features of the palest white, to be almost translucent and sick-looking. And upon his back, the mark of royalty, a shredded-looking dorsal fin meant to recall the great wings of a dragon.
So in his case, his clothes have to be cut to make room for his dorsal fin, but it varies for each Akuji because they get a smattering of features from each of their parents.
