“I lied to you.” The first words that came out of his mouth. She looked at him quizzically.
“I like the color you wear, every day, and every night.” “Blues isn’t the only color I like anymore.” The red in her cheek said everything.
“Oh” She moved swiftly, towards him, her hands trailing his shoulder blade, stopping at the back of her neck, to hold him at the place. Leaning forward she whispered “What else did you lied about?”
She was smelling like the fresh grass, intoxicating his system. “I… I lied” difficult to concentrate, he stuttered, the words were lost, and he mind went blank.
“Yes Stefan…?” inches away, her words were like the blow of air, all over his face. With his reflexes on, his hands moved forward to pull her closer, only to find the empty space between his arms.
She chuckled from far away, out of his reach. A mischievous smile turning on her lips, and starting to walk on her heels.
“That’s for coming late on the date night.” Her words, and his long sigh, enough for him to realize that now he has to do a long list of things to make it up to her.
