Reasons why I love my girlfriend
She is logical and rational, and because of that she is able to talk me down while I'm panicking
She is extremely intelligent and talented academically, but does not in any way think less of those who are not academically inclined
She is fiercely loyal to the ones closest to her
She has very strong, firm opinions on SO MANY THINGS, but somehow still manages to keep an open mind and not put down people of differing beliefs (unless, of course, their beliefs are harmful to anyone else)
She is an agnostic atheist and I am not sure which religion I would like to adhere to at the moment, but none the less I am profoundly spiritual, and she is SO supportive of me in my "soul searching, find the religion that best suits me" quest.
We are passionate about a lot of the same things, such as feminism
She has slightly different values than my own, but her values stretch and challenge my own view of the world, and I hope I do the same for her.
I have never met a person who is more dedicated to making themselves a better person than she is. And she does it in a (mostly) healthy way.
Our sex drives are pretty similar, so that works out well.
I love that she identifies as "queer"
I love when she smiles so big her nose wrinkles, and when she laughs so hard she snorts
I love when she cries and expresses her emotions freely with me
I love that she is hungry to learn about everything
I love that she is body positive
I love her body, especially her stomach
I love sharing books with her
I love that she volunteers
She helps me study
Her hair, oh my goodness. She's like a goddess.
She doesn't shave and sometimes doesn't wear a bra because fuck you patriarchy
She likes structure and schedules just as much (if not more) than I do
She recommends great books
She's a vegetarian, but not the kind that looks down on people who aren't
She teaches me things she learns in class or online or through reading
She gets excited and info dumps and it's the best
She is simultaneously really cute and really powerful
She helped me recover
She is passionate about decreasing mental illness stigma
She has "good" taste in music and I have "bad" taste in music but she doesn't judge me for it (although I'm uncomfortable labeling some works good and some bad. hm. things to think about and discuss with Rachel)
She knows I want a pet to take care of but our place of dwelling doesn't allow animals, so she's getting me a plant<3
She protested dodge ball with me in 5th grade
Sometimes she pretends to be hard and calculating, but she's really just a truffle.
A very powerful truffle
She watches gay movies with me
She is the type that would laugh and be excited if I bedazzled my vulva
