he’s   not.   he   knows   he’s   not   wrong.   but   it’s   that   little   niggle   of   doubt   that   peter   has   planted   like   a   poisonous   seed   in   his   head   that   has   lee   almost   second   guessing   himself:   but   what   if.   .   .?

if   he   wasn’t   wrong   ,   then   what   about   his   ex   rachel?   (   she   was   in   a   nuthouse   because   of   him.   )   and   what   about   his   sister   kayla?   (   he   should   be   able   to   tell   her   what   he   was   ,   what   he   did   to   people.   .   .right?   )   maybe   he   wasn’t   as   good   as   he   pretended   to   be.   maybe.   .   .   --

lee’s   jaw   clenches   as   hazel   eyes   briefly   squeeze   shut.   he   can’t   spiral   now.   it’s   people   like   peter   that   the   boy   would   go   after.   people   who   deserve   it.
