"Oh, PLEASE." Lily rolled her eyes slightly at his comment about getting off the phone with her uncle, but her face softened once more when he asked if she'd had a rough night. It was nice to have someone check on her, in a weird way. "Yeah. Investigating murder is... brutal." She realized she made herself sound like a DETECTIVE or something, but she couldn't seem to care in the moment.

"If you snitch on me to my uncle, I'm beating your ass." Not really. Lily wouldn't hurt a fly. Still, smoking was one of those things she'd been encouraged against and tried to never do... except now. The things she'd seen and heard on her last case? Well... "Have a seat. Want one?" She offered the pack to the other person with a shrug.
