Something I love with showtime is like, the implicit angst and how people get around that. Like, you have the pull of "Pomni likes Caine" vs the push of "Pomni wants to leave" and. The amount that would effect their relationship is so crazy to me. Imagine Caine, knowing the person you love wants to leave and possibly wouldn't come back. Imagine Pomni being afraid to start the relationship because she's scared of hurting Caine. Don't get attached, you want to leave. BUT THEY GET TOGETHER ANYWAYS. But that cloud still looms over their heads, coloring the relationship. ITS SO GOOD

And I know that there's the third option of "They find a way for Caine to leave too" and I love that! but also just. angst gonna angst.
