^Once Jax abstracts, he takes some solace in the fact that he can’t really be understood and uses it to let himself drop his mask more. (He is unaware that I am translating:3) And between the extra pain and inhibited impulse control that the abstraction causes, he kinda just generally doesn’t have the energy to upkeep the mask as well anymore.

Dr. Abel doesn’t get to be here for this one bc I am sick of him and tbh I think at this point he’d be sick of actually interacting with patients and would cloister himself back in his office 💔

Another A.C.C.A.I.N.E question! Why is Pomni so weak? Or, why does she have difficulty walking?

By the time Pomni wakes up she had actually been asleep for about two weeks due to malnutrition (the lack of food is the reason she exited her underground home in the first place before getting snatched like a pokemon, and because of it, what was meant to be a day of chemically induced coma, turned into a whole ass two weeks coma) so when she wakes up she's a bit weak at first, but she gains her strength quickly.

Her initial weakness isnt meant to be anything of particular note in the story, just something I threw in cuz it felt right for her situation.

do you have a favorite character

I have a couple so far, and it's Pomni and Kinger. Though, I almost want to add Jax as a third.

Pomni is a great protagonist to watch grow and come out of her shell since the pilot. I especially love how she interacts with each character and how she just seems to always want to help. I specifically love how she helps Gangle in Fast Food Masquerade when she sees her struggling.

Kinger has so many great moments, whether they're just funny, wacky moments or moments where he has full clarity and is giving one of the other characters some great advice. I can't wait for more of those moments. (Kinger, please don't abstract anytime soon 🙏)

Jax has some great moments, too, and after episode 6, I really want to see a more serious Jax. Seeing more of the real him will probably make him a favourite.
