[ teens hehe ] ââ I was able to protect Kento - kun's home & everyone else here ---- that's enough for me. ââ A temporary near sightlessness, wounds crafted to be healed by Shoko or Shinobu, to bring back unobstructed sight, to heal. Lashes remain closed, concealing from him what could be settled within wounded eyes. Vermillion slips along her head, fingers cut by a long dead Curse's hand, lips cut by falls, knees split by the ground beneath but she keeps her smile, warm & tender. Ijichi has long settled beside, a phone in nervous hands, ringing away, calling for Shoko or Shinobu. But Koto couldn't care less about that in the moment, hands slip forth to Kento's shoulders, gripping with a gentleness. ââ There's no need to remain here with me, Kento - kun. You just got home, I'm sure you'd rather be with your family. Your mama will worry. ââ
A sweet woman who had called her a beautiful girl, causing her cheeks to fluster with cherry blossoms. Squishing at his cheeks next, she seems to calm her own nerves. Really, Kento only seemed to grow kinder the longer she knows him. She knows he'll stay regardless ---- he has never left her alone, wounded or not. She remembers a time when, herself frightened, he held her hand as Shinobu worked away on her ( she was never good with being treated. ) ââ Nanami - san will think that her precious boy has gotten mixed with the wrong crowd. ââ
NANAMI WISHED THAT KOTO wasnât so reckless. He was glad that she was able to protect his family, yet even so, she had put herself in harmâs way against a curse that could have been deadly to someone of her sorcerer rank. How she managed to defeat it was anyoneâs guess. However, he knew of how determined she was â of how she would fight and fight until she couldnât anymore. Even if the situation looked bleak, she still had a way of turning things around into her direction in a way he couldnât quite understand. âCut that out,â Nanami finally spoke, reaching up to take Kotoâs hands from his shoulders. He held them gently, but there was still a sense of firmness in his hold. âMy family is fine. You, on the other hand, arenât. They were already aware that I, eventually, wouldnât be coming around as much.â After all, being a sorcerer was dangerous work. He never told them what he did at Jujutsu High, opting to let them believe it was some special high school (not a total lie), but he should have kept his distance when he realized the kind of work he would be doing there.
That curse sniffing around was his fault.
There could be no other reason for its appearance aside from it being curious of the tendrils of cursed energy that lingered around the place. Releasing Kotoâs wrists, he huffed quietly when those same hands came to press against his cheeks, no doubt making him look ridiculous. He was trying to be serious here, Koto. Could you maybe pay attention to his words, please? âA little too late for that, I think, Koto.â Mixing up with the wrong crowd⊠He might as well be, considering. Their whole profession meant they might as well keep their distance from normal people for the most part anyway.
