i'll try to avoid reblogging from cc creators who have chosen to join the sims 4 marketplace as i am vehemently against microtransactions and paywalling mods of any kind.

i also believe that the creators are either very greedy (the kind that already make a lot from patreon and would paywall their content in a heartbeat if they could) OR they are being exploited by EA. 70/30 is CRAZY. please do not let them do that to you.

i don't know which creators are going to be on there but i will be trying to keep up with it and not reblog their things anymore.

lets kiss in a hater way. anyway i haven't talked abt this one on tumblr but i really hate ffxivs handling of elpis/the ancients because We Don't Need To Know Any Of This. it actively detracts from the story. 5.x amaurot works so well because it's a frozen moment in time, and it's told entirely thru the perspective of two unreliable narrators.

BUT I'M THE ABSOLUTE MOST MAD ABOUT ELIDIBUS BECAUSE HE WAS A CHARACTER DEFINED BY OTHER CHARACTERS. i NEVER wanted to see his true self. ever. not once. we only saw him through the lens of him acting as other characters like zenos and ardbert and the first warrior of light (even wolidibus isn't elidibus!) and giving us themis literally just ruins that entire aspect of his character to me because the msot important thing about elidibus is that elidibus doesn't exist anymore. the man that came before what we see in the present day was lost when he died becoming zodiark's heart and was resurrected AS A PRIMAL. elidibus the guy we see ingame was a representation of the hopes of the amaurotine people and he was losing more and more of that over time because he's a decaying remnant of a dead world. and that's so much more interesting to me than Coolguy White Haired Twink
