Gigats Attends the 2014 SHRM Conference
The 2014 Society for Human Resource Management Annual Conference and Exposition was hosted from June 22nd to the 24th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The Gigats, being just a short drive away, attended the conference and met several new businesses and human resource professionals over the course of the three days. The convention featured showcases of the newest and leading products, services and solutions for the human resources industry and attracted many businesses from all across the nation. In attendance at the conference, was a company called Ultimate Software. The Gigats team was grateful to have had the opportunity to meet some of the team members from Ultimate Software and learn a little more about what they do.
Ultimate Software, headquartered in Weston, FL, provides tools that allow businesses to manage every workforce need- from recruitment to retirement. Currently, Ultimate has more than 2,700 cutomers with employees in 150 countries, including Adobe Systems Incorporated, Major League Baseball, Pep Boys and more. The company also ranked as #20 on FORTUNE magazine’s 2014 list of the Best Companies to work for.
After meeting Ultimate Solutions and several other amazing businesses and individuals throughout the course of the first two days of the conference, the Gigats team invited SHRM attendees to attend the 2014 Rock of Ages event hosted at T.H.E Venue. The event featured live tribute band performances by The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Journey. Guests also enjoyed free food and drinks while mingling, networking and meeting other individuals who were at the party. The night was an excellent success and everyone had an excellent time rocking out and kicking back after another successful day a SHRM.
This year’s conference offered the opportunity for the team to learn more about the human resources industry and the leading companies that are dominating the field. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Gigats 2014 Rock of Ages. We look forward to attending next year’s conference in Las Vegas, and think 2015 will be an even better year!
