So first off, I keep touching my hair and I filmed at an awkward double chinning angle so I’m sorry about that.

Le Accent Challenge!

Yes my friends, here is may awful excuse of an accent challenge. I made a few mistakes, the camera does thing were it flips and I hate it, I look awful, and sound like I have a cold. A true wreck but after two weeks and many takes, this is as good as it’s going to get. Could’ve done this while I still had my makeup on, but nah, why do that? So Anyway, I don’t recommend watching unless you want to hear me talk for 8 minutes. But anyway, here’s my accent challenge. <3

SHRPGTASK17: Accent Challenge!

At Serenity House, we have been so lucky to have such a wide variety of members from various time zones and countries grace us with their online presence. Being a new year, we figured why not celebrate that?? This challenge is our first that is actually OOC based as opposed to IC-- might as well try something new!

So this is how it’s going to work; take a video recording (you do not have to show your face if you’re not comfortable with it, or take an audio recording instead) of you saying what is under the read more on this post. You are welcome to post it on your personal and/or characters blogs so it’s on the dash if you’d like! If you’d rather keep it private, you can either post it privately on tumblr, or post privately on youtube (etc). Wherever you post it, you must submit a link to it to the main in order to receive points! After the tasks have all been completed, we will compile a post of all the links, and post it in the ooc. If you do not wish to have yours as part of the composite, please say so when you submit your link/video to us. You will still receive points, but you may miss out on getting to know your fellow RP’ers, and them getting to know you, too!

We want this to be a very inclusive task, while still respecting peoples’ privacy. No videos will be posted on the main, or any of our attached blogs (ie Director Candy/Ruby). The only time they will appear is if you post them, and at the end when we create the mass post to post in our ooc blog-- where only you and your fellow members will be able to view it :)

This task will be worth 500pts, and will be due Saturday, January 23rd at 11:59pm EST. If you decide to post it publicly, please remember to tag it as SHRPGTASK17! Remember that Tumblr does have a maximum upload video length of 5 minutes, and no more than 100MB in size!
