They said she was based off of a woman that had died 20 years prior.

In her youth she had taken the country by storm with her voice and charm, her creator told her. Because of this, and among other reasons that was confidential to even herself, 'Ri' was made. 

One white coat said that her purpose would be that of her predecessors ideals--To unite make people happy with songs. They said it took years to get her voice bank correct, to prevent it from becoming metallic or break under strain. To make her voice perfect and human.

Today, one of the scientists said she was going to meet other labs' success; 'Digit'. They were completely different androids, she gathered--He was one fit to fight, and she couldn't do such a thing without breaking down completely. Maybe it was to see how her social skills were? She thought her personality was great! There's no need to test her interactions....

Even as she pouted and sulked to herself, she couldn't just disrespect her creators. And so she just sat a chair at the lab, eyes planted down as her feet kicked back and forth. All she had to do was sit here until a white coat came with Digit. She already knew what she was gonna say to him:
