It was so loud, and Asa wanted it to stop. They wanted it to go away. 

When the screaming got too loud for them to bare, they got out of bed and left the room. The argument got louder, and Asa could make out some of the words clearer. Not that they understood what any of this was about. Something about money? Or their dad's business?

Asa ignored everything else and opened the door at the other end of the hallway.

"Bruder? Are you awake?"

"No."

"Can I stay in here tonight?"

"Why?"

Asa looked down. "They're fighting again..."

"I thought you would be used to it by now."

Asa was used to it, but that doesn't mean they had to like it.

Their brother sighed and sat up. "Fine. But this is the last time."

A grin spread across Asa's face. "That's what you said three nights ago."

(the song you got was short hair by AOA but since aki already has short hair im modifying it slightly!)

Aki looks slightly uncomfortable as she stands in the doorway. Everything about her seems the same, really- same track jacket, same shorts, same dumb socks with athletic sandals. She changed her shirt to one advertising “BIG SUMMER FUN”, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue. The biggest glaring inconsistency is her hair, which curls around her face in a messy bob. Someone’s been growing it out! Not that she seems delighted.

"So, uh… it doesn’t look awful, right? Like, I just haven’t had time to get a haircut, and, uh, I’ve got some banquet to go to, so…"

She trails off awkwardly, tugging at a stray curl.
