How I Made The Ghosts!

Step One: Select a pose reference.

Step Two: On a separate layer, fill in the silhouette of said reference.

Step Three: Make the layer semi-transparent and erase shadows, connection points (i.e. between ear and head, between legs, etc.).

Step Four: Place the ghost horse in the picture and make it as transparent as you want. I changed the placement on mine a few times XD

Step Five: Copy the ghost horse and make one layer extra blurry (the body) and keep one layer the same (the head) to add emphasis. Adjust transparency levels and blur as preferred. I also added some additional mist to make the ghosts blend into the sene more. Done!

Here are the two ghosts I made for this piece as solid shapes! Feel free to copy and paste these into your own drawings as long as you credit the proper reference photos listed above :D

Boom: I might be crazy but I think there might be a ghost in my floating screaming toaster. Just last week my toast came out uncooked!

Trixie: Trixie needs help, she has a ghost problem. It keeps throwing forks at my assistant. If he gets like, fork-i-fied or something, then he can't get coffee for me anymore (also Trixie might get sued).

Shutter Ghost: Hm.
