Listening to For Good and having Lincoln and Daisy feels like;

Lincoln: I’m limited, just look at me, I’m limited. You can do all I couldn’t do, Daisy, it’s up to you. For both of us. Now it’s up to you.

Daisy: I’ve heard it said, that people come into our lives, for a reason. Bringing something we must learn and we are lead, to those who help us most to grow, if we let them. And we help them in return. Well I’d don’t know if I believe that’s true, but I know I’m who I am today, because I knew you.

Lincoln: It well may be, that we will never meet again, in this lifetime. So let me say before we part, so much of me, is made of what I learned from you, you’ll be with me, like a hand print on my heart. And now whatever way our stories end, I know you have rewritten mine, by being my friend.

Daisy: And just to clear the air, I ask forgiveness, for the things I’ve done - you blame me for.

Lincoln: But then I guess we know there’s blame to share, and none of it seems to matter anymore.

Both: Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.

Listening to Augustus’ eulogy in the Fault of Our Stars reminds me of Daisy and Lincoln and I kind hurt all over cause like;

“We all wanna be remembered. But she’s different. She knows the truth...she didn’t want a million admirers she just wanted one. And she got it. Maybe she wasn’t loved widely but she was loved deeply. And isn’t that more than most of us get?

Her eyes were closed, her skin pale, but her hands were still her hands. Still warm and her nails were painted this dark blue/black color and I just held them, and I willed myself to imagine a world without us. And what a worthless world that would be.

She’s so beautiful. You don’t get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she’s smarter than you ‘cause you know she is. She’s funny without ever being mean. I love her. God I love her. I’m so lucky to love her.

You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world but, you DO have a say in who hurts you. And I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.”
