Sometimes Cirilla forgot what it felt like to be normal. She wasn’t that old in fey years, but the life she lived in the mundane world—growing up with them, being raised by mundane parents, the early years when she had no magic, no complications other than her own health and fleeting human problems—felt so long ago. The humans she once knew were long gone by now, and what little of human she had left in her felt like it had died along with them.
So when a mundane was in her realm, she couldn’t help the small infatuation she had towards them. The feeling only increased when the mundane somehow was involved in the supernatural world, knowing their existence. Unfortunately for Gabriella, she was such a person, and the Queen, feeling bored, put her sights on her today. Unbeknownst to the poor girl, the world was pushing her into the Queen’s direction, the trees and land morphing in front of the human’s eyes to push her towards one of the clearings in the woods where the Queen awaited, sitting at the head of a table alone with an abundance of food and wine.
“I wondered how long it would take for you to arrive,” she greeted. “Join me.” ( closed starter for @shxdowme )
