Starter for @shxttered-sou1s and their muse Sebastian
The autumn season was well underway for Sebastian to be told that he has an errand to run this fine morning. Ciel Phantomhive stating that he has a package waiting to be picked up from a mysterious lady that has opened an apothecary shop in London. Yet Ciel would also like for Sebastian to do some investigating as to who this mysterious lady is and, if at all possible, arrange for her to be an ally slash gaming partner for the young Master.
The apothecary shop is set in the more picturesque part of London. Almost right across the street from the cathedral to have the added benefit of housing a luxurious looking greenhouse next to the shop. The sign above the door reading Adelha’s Apothecary in flowing script. An elderly couple just exiting the shop for a white haired young woman to be seeing them out. Her piercing azure blues eyes going from the elderly couple to Sebastian for them to widen. A gloved hand gripping the door a bit tighter than expected as she stares at the approaching butler. But soon she collects herself to look completely businesslike once the elderly couple have headed in the other direction.
The lady pauses in speaking when a little grey kitten tries to escape the apothecary shop through the still open door. So the lady quickly scoops the kitten up to lecture the kitten in fluent Gaelic. Her gaze never leaving Sebastian for her to then notice the Phantomhive lapel pin Sebastian is wearing. So she gives a long huff of air to then curtsey for the butler. Her words given in lilted intonation as she holds the door open for Sebastian. “Not whom I was expecting to pick up this order for Lord Phantomhive. Yet you have impeccable timing. As long as you intend no harm to any that dwell here, I bid you enter. If you would give me a moment or four to set this little princess back into her basket of a throne and indulge her with a toy. Aqua tends to enjoy pouncing on shoes if I don’t try to keep her somewhat entertained.”
The kitten gives a purr of utter mischief and delight at the last sentence. Those luminous blue eyes much like sapphires as the kitten stares at Sebastian with obvious interest. To which the lady sighs to lift up her free gloved hand and tickle the kitten. Which has the kitten purr and play with the lady’s fingers. “I should have named you Pandora in hindsight. You adorable troublemaker.”
