Even though I usually don't review fics as short as this one, I just had to make an exception for this because damn. This fic packed quite a punch of good feelings, fluff, and warmth.

A simple request from Dean is enough to make Cas spiral out of control. He should feel completely normal about sharing a bed with Dean, but because we know our boys, it's completely unsurprising the fact that Cas reacts in a SO not normal way to Dean's request to sleep with him.

What follows is a sweet glance at our boys sharing a bed and their night with each other for the first time. And even though there's no explicit outcome of it, it feels just as rewarding to see both Cas and Dean sharing such a sweet and vulnerable moment with each other.

This fic is the ultimate sharing-a-bed fic, and if you enjoy that trope, you should give this fic a try.

               "Police, open up!" Dean called as he thumped on the front door. The house in front of him was dark inside, but Dean had to make sure that it was empty before he could move on to the next house in the neighborhood. Behind him, the bright orange lifeboat was waiting, holding onto the railing of the house to keep the boat from floating away. Already the streets were up to Dean's waist, and the evacuation was crucial at the exact moment before the houses were knocked down and anyone trapped inside would be drowned.

               "Police!" Dean shouted again, knocking as loud as he could as well as ringing the bell. There was a flash inside one of the windows, so Dean knocked again as well as rang. The flashing light inside the window happened another time, and Dean panicked, realizing that someone was probably trying to signal for help. "Coming in!" Dean warned as he kicked the door down and busted into the house.

It's all rainbows and Dean's bi disastrousness, and it features an orange cat that is sure to steal your heart with his attitude. It truly combines everything our fandom loves - including, Castiel's fondness of bees. It's perfect for a small dose of fluff between chores, or while waiting in a queue, or even as a palate cleanser between more angsty fics. Don't miss it!

One thing Dean's never been able to get the hang of is putting his daughter's hair in braids. That is until he watches a man on his train to work do just the thing he can't. When said man accuses him of staring, instead of malice, a friendship blooms between the two single parents.

If you need a quick read to cheer you up, this story is perfect. Single-dad Dean has some trouble doing his daughter's hair, so when he sees another (drop-dead gorgeous) man braiding a girl's hair on the train, his interest is piqued. What follows is pure fluff and cuteness.

Now, I wouldn't call this a meet-cute. The first time they talk to each other Cas is not exactly friendly, but they warm up to each other almost instantly, and watching them become friends while Dean frets over whether or not to ask Castiel on a date is adorable. I also really enjoyed Claire and Emma as children and was happy to read a fic with Emma that doesn't include Lydia as a villain.

Dean doesn't know what the fuck to do with his hands. He might be dead, and in Heaven, but that still hasn't changed.

The world ended, and then Cas sacrificed himself to save Dean, and then Sam and Dean defeated Chuck and saved the world, and then Dean died. We might deny it, we might refuse to think about it, but this is the finale of the show.

But what happened after? What happened after Sam met Dean again on that bridge? What if Cas was there, too? What if he and Dean finally, finally met again? What if Cas had a surprise for them? Well, this fic is here to answer all those questions and impossibly fix the unfixable. Dean finds out about the nephew who was named after him, Sam gets his own (gigantic) library, and then! Then, Cas and Dean get the ending they deserve. And Dean figures out what to do with his hands.

Story idea: The most wanted woman in town has announced that she’ll only marry the one who can open her front door with the key around her cat’s neck. Many men try to hunt the cat down, chase and trap it, but to no avail, the cat is simply too quick, smart and clever, and always finds a way to evade and avoid them. You are the first one to figure out the obvious: Do not chase the cat. The cat is befriendable. Get the cat to trust you, to genuinely enjoy your company, and you can hang out with the cat. You may eventually be allowed to touch the cat. The cat will freely let you take the key.

This is just such a sweet story that uses a prompt and turns it into a short but well developed fanfic with a fleshed out world building and great characterization.

I like that this is kind of the reverse!verse for Castiel and Dean where Dean is the flustered one around Cas and Castiel is the popular one in town. Everyone is after Cas even though he would much rather be left alone. So, he comes up with a plan: whoever catches the key around his cat’s neck can marry Castiel. Of course Dean wouldn’t take advantage of that. Even though, for some reason, the cat starts showing up at Dean’s place and they start an unlikely friendship.

Still, Dean is sure Castiel wouldn’t want anything with him, so he settles for the prospect of having to watch Castiel marrying someone else. Maybe the cat will have to prove him wrong.

This is like super interesting to me, when I was in high school, we didn’t do anything like this. But as for the fic, I enjoyed the pining in it. Shy dean is always a plus.

I wanna either read or write blushing/shy!dean. Omg. Like he’s still pretty tough, but when cas says things in his ear he goes red and sweating. Even if dean’s topping, cas whispers something while gasping and dean cums right away. It’s too much. ugh
