like i was aware of error when he dropped and sideways followed that along wnough that when i finally bothered to seriously look into the greater multiverse and found the blog had bee deleted it was fine i knew enough to get started and look into things on my own and such
but im so out of touch now that they dropped a whole new guy and i dont even know where he came from. and i could figure it out eventually im sure but im positive itll be about the time he's no longer popular or theres a new thing happening that I'll do so and im pre-exhausted

Fret not my disciple, I have the knowledge you seek. Color Sans is actually an old Sans from the earlier days of the fandom, who was created by @/superyoumma (NOT tagging her over this lmao) and has always had some measure of popularity due to his canon connections to Killer Sans, but has recently seen a large surge in popularity with the return of his creator to the fandom at the same time as Killer's creator.
He originates from the AU, "Othertale" which became discontinued for a while, and is now going to get a reboot. His basic story is that he was a Sans who, as a last ditch effort, absorbed the souls to kill the human right as he was dying, and was then able to reset after the fact. This removed both himself and the human from the world, and he now resides in the void most of the time with Gaster.
