re: Winter Soldier: MAYBE A LITTLE? It was actually an almost painful movie for me to watch--I like fast cars and big explosions and ridiculous fight choreography in general, but I don't usually feel like it's "real"--and then I realized why. I'm not usually emotionally invested in action flicks bc I don't care about the characters. Angsty dude, bro, mentor, cheesecake chick. Okay. I'm only here for the special effects. But I REALLY CARED ABOUT THESE CHARACTERS. Hated Bucky's hair design, tho.

Anything crossover where the characters in the home universe and the crossover universe don't get on/have to work together. Think the Girls Next Door comics :D
