❝ if anyone comes up to you telling you that me , your best friend , has betrayed you in some way , don’t listen to them. i’m completely trustworthy and will always have your back. ❞ shun tries not to fidget throughout that entire statement , and it seems to be working out for him - besides the obvious fact that he hasn’t looked hyoga in the eyes once. ❝ do you ... uh ... want to go for ice cream ? or shopping ? anything ? ❞
[ send ❤ for love / accepting / @siberianxbreaks ]
we haven’t written with one another yet, and i’m so sorry hyoga has to deal with sleep drunk shun and making ice cream but i do look forward to writing with you !! though we haven’t written, i can tell you’re a very kind and caring person ( i thank you for all your kind and endearing messages and worry for my darn knee ), and you seem super friendly !! you are willing to reach out and help, and i love that. i do hope we get to write more into the future and have fun with some chaotic threads, some sad threads…i dunno, we’ll go where our writing leads :D
“Your training is going well. However we are getting from the other trainees about the temperature.” Some lasting effects maybe? There were a lot of things to say right now.
“Hmm... Well, other than my cloth... I guess I’d say that I never leave home without my medallion? It holds some sentimental value to me, even knowing it’s true purpose.”
8. When they think of ‘home’ what do they think of?
“Oh... Well, that’s easy; Home is wherever my loved ones are. My brother, Seiya, Hyoga, Shiryu, June, Kiki-- They are all so very dear to me and hold pieces of my heart with them. So, whenever I’m with them-- when I’m with my heart-- I feel the comfort and safety of being ‘home’.”
//Okay so I have more rants than this one in mind, but I randomly gained the sudden URGE to just bitch about the Children of Kido plotline and like-- Like I know it’s been basically retconned in every way shape and form at this point, and I’m glad, bUT I’M STILL SO MAD ABOUT ALL THE REASONS IT MADE NO SENSE IN THE FIRST PLACE
//So for starters, there is NO FUCKING WAY that Mistumasa Kido got THAT MANY WOMEN PREGNANT at the SAME GODDAMN TIME. There are FAR too many of these kids that come from different countries, or at least different parts of Japan, that are too close in age for that to be feasible. Even if this bitch was ZEUS HIMSELF, I would doubt the feasibility of this because he’s still in a mortal form. Conception just does not work that way, there’s no way that he could have basically conceived Hyoga and Shiryu at the same goddamn time, they were in different countries.
//ALSO, speaking of the ages, there is NO WAY IN TARTARUS that he went around having kids specifically to train them to become saints. According to the lore, if I’m remembering correctly, Mitsumasa didn’t know anything about Athena or the Saints until he adopted Saori, so like??? How could these kids who are all either the SAME AGE AS or OLDER THAN Saori have been conceived by Mitsumasa Kido SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of being trained and becoming saints??? Even if you take away the fact that it’s just not physically possible for him to conceive a hundred kids in different parts of the world at basically the same time, that still doesn’t explain how he could have conceived even any of our main five for the purposes of protecting Athena when you compare the ages of the main five to Saori’s age when Mistumasa learned that any of this mythology bullshit was real. I mean, Ikki, Hyoga, and Shiryu are all older than Saori by at least a year. Hers and Shun’s birthdays are EIGHT DAYS APART.
//OOF man, it really just burns my biscuits when people try to stick with that canon. I’ve seen people try to stick with it, and it makes my fucking brain just melt.
