Random... but not to me

Idk if this is just me but there is always a moment where I feel a little pain, and I F R E E Z E.

I don't move, speak, or anything... just pop meds immediately and take deep breaths.

Also, in that moment, my mind is thinking of escape plans because it can  end one of two ways:

1. I'll be fine for the most part, just a little pain but, otherwise, a false alarm

2. Within the next 10 minutes I'll be crying, screaming, and (if not in my apt or with friends) in the back of an ambulance headed to the hospital to stay for who knows how long...

It's lowkey kind of scary.

I NEED YOUR HELP

Currently, I am in the process of starting a fundraiser for the Sickle Cell Disease Association, this fundraiser will lay the foundation for my non-profit company in the making.

I am putting together a website that will outline the key goal of the fundraiser (and ultimately the non-profit) as well as be a showcase for the different products I am selling to raise awareness (again all profit goes to Sickle Cell Disease Association).

I would like all of you to be apart of it though. I want your stories,Your poems, your descriptions of pain, anything you want to give/ share I'll take it!

Submit anything you want, along with your picture (optional), name (first is fine), and location (city & state).

Yes, I will be putting my own "story" up but I think its best to hear from multiple people, multiple views.

I know as a Sickler, I just want to be heard. This is our chance.
