Submissions wanted for Side-Line powered 'Face The Beat 6' download compilation - send your submissions now for this mega industrial/electro compilation! - Side-Line Music Magazine

The wait is over. After being probed for a new volume by a ton of artists and labels, Side-Line Magazine has now started to accept submissions for “Face The Beat: Session 6” to be released via the popular Side-Line Bandcamp page. The compilation series continues to grow in strength as the previous volume, the 5th, was the most ever downloaded volume, again. It reached ten of thousands of music fans worldwide and even was the most downloaded release during almost an entire week on Bandcamp – which in itself is quite an achievement since the compilation series is famous for featuring a lot of unknown bands as well. On “Face The Beat: Session 6” – scheduled for release this Winter – we will again be focusing on new/known talents from the industrial/electronic scene which will get a large platform to showcase their material. Thisturbia is a fully successful collaboration covering a wide arsenal of influences and music styles

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Thisturbia is a next release featuring Fernando Cerqueira Thisco aka Rasalasad working with another formation. Amantra (Audiomantra) is a French project driven by Thierry Arnal. He released some work on Avalanche Records and Terranean Recordings.

Content: The work takes off with heavy, ambient blasts joined by dark noises. Quite progressively both artists are experimenting with different influences moving from cinematographic and somewhat psychedelic-like passages towards heavy, resonating drones.

Thisturbia is an overwhelming production covering different sources of inspiration. I was mainly impressed by the global sound production, which comes mainly through in the crushing ambient parts and heavy drones. Peak is an absolute masterpiece.

- - - : Rasalasad is not exactly a formation that can be labeled as one established style. Thats maybe a problem when you have to define the work of this project.

Conclusion: Thisturbia is a fully successful collaboration covering a wide arsenal of influences and music styles. Both artists definitely have to renew this experiment.

Wow, Side-line really has turned into TMZ.

I think I'll just start reading Re-Gen instead, even though it's mostly just FiXT artists and industrial-metal.

Typical Recoil elements phrase repeated over and over again.

Yeah, and the only thing you know about Recoil is how the album covers look like, don't you?

Plus right after the typical heavy Recoil like production we have This is exactly how Depeche Mode could sound today. Make up your mind dude. If it's "Recoilish" than it can't sound like Mode (or even "new Mode"). It's completely different stuff. And again we come back to the first question: did this guy hear anything by Recoil, except the name?

Seriously, Alan for the last 16 years have created great albums and you people act as if he did nothing for all this time and come back to the business NOW. In comparison to his solo stuff, this remix is mediocre and you are like "go Alan, you showed them".

No, he did that earlier. Shame on you people, really.
