Sid Roadster {Birthday Drabble}

Sid was overjoyed, he felt like he would burst a circuit. He was able to take the day off from training for the racing season and relax and have fun on his birthday. A whole day just for him. Sid grabbed his jacket and wallet, and then he headed out. He used the wheels in his feet to get around faster. He raced out,  eager to hang around town alone. Once he hit the town, he switched back to his normal feet. He jogged around town, just sort of taking it all in. He'd seen plenty of towns and cities as he past through them, but it was nice to take it slow and enjoy the sights once in a while. He was just going walk around, popping into various shops to check out what's inside, and hopefully avoiding being recognized. The day passed and Sid had a lot of fun. It was starting to get dark and he had promised to be back before the sun set. But he wanted to make one last stop for the day. He quickly made his way into a small bookstore. Sid browsed the shelves for a bit before stopping and pulling a book of the shelf. The title on the cover was "The Count of Monte Christo." Sid hummed as he took the book with him. He grabbed another book, this one was called "To Kill A Mocking Bird", and then he headed to the cash register. He paid for his two new books, and left. He switched to his wheels once a gain and raced off back home. When he got back he headed to his room, grabbed his stuff and climbed onto travel R.V/bus. They did have a race to get to, and the trip would take a while perfect time to open his books and read a little.
