Even if Peter's memories of Earth were hazy, he definitely knew nothing like this had happened when he was young. He was not sure what the hell had happened, but something big had gone down. and now everything had just gone crazy. Considering he had no idea what was going on, he had no idea whose side--if any--he was supposed to be on. Look, I'm not even from here. I mean, I am, but I'm also not, but the main thing is I don't wanna get involved, and-- He had been rehearsing what to say if anyone approached him when a guy did come up to him. Startled, Peter took out his blaster, which was probably not a good idea if he wanted convey that he did not want to get involved, but obviously it was too late for that.

"Ok, look, I'm not from here and I...aw crap." So much for his lines. Shaking his head, Peter lowered his blaster. "Look, I've really got nothing to do with this. I don't know who's fighting who or what the hell is even going on. I haven't been on Earth for years until now, so please don't make me fight over something I don't even understand!" It seemed like the guy did not want to fight though. Actually, it seemed like he might actually get what Peter was blathering about, because he went and introduced himself as a member of the Green Lantern Corps. Which might not actually be a good thing; considering they were basically space cops, Peter would not be surprised if he was on their most wanted list. "Oh, hey...yeah...that's cool!" He nodded quickly. "So you, uh, trying to keep the peace here too? 'Cause I don't know if you've looked around lately, but that might not be working out too well."

Chaos caused by humans was always a delight to watch; Lucifer had done so many, many times over the centuries. But a drawback to trying to watch chaos was that one could get caught up in it, and unfortunately this was one of those times. He had managed to avoid the mobs of humans, but it was a lot more difficult to avoid a bunch of robots. For starters, he could do nothing to tempt them or encourage them to sin or any of his usual tactics. Which meant Lucifer was rather up the proverbial creek. He was also not alone.

"Ah, the sassy southern belle," he remarked, recalling her from the time she had come to the club with her less-than-honest Cajun beau. She did not seem to be running from the robots either, which was either brave or stupid. "I don't think you're going to be able to sweet-talk them, you know. I won't even be able to sweet talk them, which is terribly annoying. I'm used to much more pliable adversaries." Glaring up at the robots, Lucifer suddenly found himself wishing he had not chosen to cut his wings off. "Damn you humans and your inventions! I didn't have to worry about giant bloody robots when I dropped in to watch the Great Fire of London!"

Running into danger--usually without thinking--was Peter's typical MO. But considering he did not even understand what all the Terrans were fighting about, and thus had even less of an idea of what to do than usual, he made the choice to duck into a bar. Even getting there had not been easy, so by the time he got in, he was really ready for a drink. Sitting down at the bar, he glanced around and saw Daisy sitting at the other end. Obviously he was not the only one who needed a break from the chaos.

"Hey!" he called, "I'm willing to buy a round if you promise not to tell me about any other weird cures that humans have come up with for injuries. 'Cause I swear if you tell me someone thinks spitting on a person will cure cancer, I'm outta here." He would have loved to literally get out of there; at least he understood what the hell people were fighting about in his own universe. As Daisy came over, he dug into his pocket for what little Earth money he had. "Has all this got something to do with humans not liking aliens? Or are they just sending out big ass robots for kicks?"

"Bet you wishin' it was jus' me fallin' outta a window on you ag'in, huh?" Remy remarked over his shoulder to Daisy. The whole city was one big shitstorm, it seemed, and he had been facing so much of it on his own so far. Not that he could not handle it, but when being set upon by both angry humans and Sentinels alike, it was nice to have someone on your side. After running into yet another aggressive group of protesters, Remy had thrown a few cards to try and shake them, then had taken off down an alley. Coming out the other side, he almost ran into someone, and with everything happening, he was too much on the defense not to react. 

Thankfully, he had recognized her in time, though he feared he would be pulling her into danger--if she had not already been facing it herself. "We need t' stop meetin' when I'm gettin' chased by people for doin' nothin'! Well...ok. Dis time I was usin' some cards, but not in de way you t'ink!" Pulling out a few more cards, he looked back down the alley, though he could not see the protesters any more. That, however, could have been due to the fact that there was a big pile of boxes now blocking the far end of the alley, which could have been done by the protesters or even Remy himself when he flung his cards. Either way, there was no way to tell where the people were, or if they were going to come around by another way. "Don' suppose you got like, super vision or somethin', do you? 'Cause I'd love t' play another hand wit' dose rowdies, but I kinda gotta see 'em for dat!"
