Optimal alternative to conventional bag filters – Sivtek Self Cleaning Filter
If you are still using Bag filters in the automation age, you are surely outdated! With the introduction of Self-Cleaning Filters from the house of Galaxy Sivtek, it’s time to say goodbye to bag filters.
Here are the top 5 reasons & comparison why Sivtek® Self Cleaning Filter is a more beneficial & optimal option over conventional Bag Filters.
1. Costing
The first & foremost thing every smart industrialist would consider is costing & pricing. Bag filters might be a low capital investment initially, but in the long term, it is more cost consuming.
In a long run, the cost of frequently replacing bag filters and stocking the bag filters as well as disposing of the bag filters would end up more as compared to...

Uses of Industrial woven mesh screens in various processes
Belt Conveyers
Mesh belt conveyers are used in several industrial processes such as they are used for the removal of liquids and moisture from solid waste before burning in waste to energy plants. These mesh belts carry heavy loads at high temperatures and are resistant to corrosion from cocktail fluids present in these streams. Stainless steel mesh belts are commonly used for food processing. In the food industry, these belts are used widely and are highly resistant to aggressive sanitizing and they perform in high and low temperatures. Food processing belts are widely used to bake or toast foods at temperatures about 200oC, they are also used in liquid- nitrogen spray-freezing tunnels that serve at very temperatures about -196oC.
Printing
Mesh screens are widely used for screen-printing as they have good mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion which are important properties for mesh materials in this process. The mesh screen has high tensile stresses developing from fast passage of the squeeze as it drives the high viscosity ink through the mesh. In this application, stainless steel 316 mesh is commonly used in these screens. SS 316 resists the corrosive inks and cleaning solvents that are stored in the crevices where weaving wires cross. The screen printing applications vary from traditional labeling for pharmaceutical and food bottles to latest applications found in the semiconductor industry. The ultrafine woven mesh screens that demand size accuracy and printing sharpness are essential, are used to print the masks of printed circuits and mark liquid crystal screens and photovoltaic solar screens. Molybdenum based stainless steel screens are used in ink jet cartridges where they ensure the fluidity and suitable distribution of inks before the jets. Micromesh screens made of wire mesh have diameters smaller than one micron may comprise the lower dimensional limit that can be attained in stainless steel wire mesh screens.
Sieving and filter screens
These processes separate or eliminate wet, humid or dry particles from their environment and are commonly used in various industries. The best example of use of mesh in filtering and sieving process is in molybdenum mining. Winning molybdenite from the ore in which it is stored needs conversion of millions of tons of large rocks in micron-sized particles. They need to further processes to release and purify molybdenite to make it usable in all products that are used at present. The process involves crushing and grinding steps, which include screening to separate smaller particles that can be passed to the next step of processing from larger particles to undergo additional crushing and grinding. Use of monel mesh screens in mining applications is recommended for its high strength, size stability and resistance to aqueous corrosion.
Additional applications of woven mesh screens include food, agriculture, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, pulp and paper, chemical and petrochemical processing are other industries that are based on metal screens for example cars, trucks, airplanes and power plants. The use of specific screens is based on process type and type of corrosive fluids used. Heanjia develops various filter and sieve screens that are used in such processes.
High strength Filter Mesh Screens for vigorous sieving applications
Heanjia is a leading supplier of mesh screen based products. We offer a complete range of wire mesh and perforated sheet screens for use in separation, insulation and industrial applications. With a wide range of screens offered at one place, we are open to serve international clients.
Industrial gratings
We offer tailor made and standard steel gratings to exact requirements for your industrial products and facilities in all fields including petrochemical plants, power plants, refineries, cement, high rising towers and more.
Perforated and expanded sheets are offered that have high strength and are highly economical. We serve world wide general industrial and commercial plants, their applications include walkways, platforms, security barriers, drainage covers and ventilation.
Our screens are also fit for use as decking as they can support larger loads as compared to solid flooring. The use of perforated and expanded screens maximizes the flow of air, light, heat, water and sound in addition to providing a clean environment. Heanjia offers mesh screens made from stainless steel and other high nickel based super alloys.
Mesh for coalesce
Coalescer is an advanced equipment to perform coalescence. It is mainly used to separate emulsions by different processes working in reverse to an emulsifier. In the compressed air purification, these filters are used to remove water and oil from compressed air through coalescing effect. The mesh screens used in these filers additionally remove particles.
Liquid-gas coalescers in oil and gas, petrochemical and oil refinery industries are widely used to remove water and hydrocarbon liquids from natural gas to achieve highly pure natural gas and secure the downstream equipments for example compressors, gas turbines, glycol absorbers, sieves, guard beds, gas fired heaters, furnaces, heat exchangers, gas-gas purification membranes etc.
In the oil refining plants, liquid-liquid coalescers have common applications in eliminating contaminants such as amine or caustic from the intermediate products in oil refineries and in dewatering final products such as kerosene, LPG, gasoline and diesel below 15 ppm free water in the hydrocarbon phase. Liquid-liquid coalescers are also used to separate hydrocarbons from water phases like oil removal from produced water. They are also used in pyrolysis gasoline removal from cooling water in ethylene plants. Heanjia Super-Metals make plate and woven mesh screens in stainless steel and nickel alloys depending on the requirement. They can also be used alone or in combination to separate a wide range mechanically induced emulsions.
Advantages of high strength Monel mesh screens include cost-effectiveness, corrosion resistance, durability and size stability. We make both perforated and woven mesh screens that are available in a variety of sizes providing maximum strength.
Other advantages include:
High strength, smooth surface, easy handling, easy cutting, versatile, size stability.
Heanjia Super-Metals is the largest source for manufacturing and supplying wire mesh screens suitable for pipe winding applications to reinforce the steel pipe that will be coated and then used in water or soil. So, contact us for your mesh screen requirements.
Pneumatic conveying systems – A success story
India’s largest selling masala brand*, Everest Spices, now** has the biggest automated masala plant (packaged spices plant) in all of Asia. This dream was turned into a reality due to the collaborative efforts of the visionary spice manufacturer and AZO GmbH, who provided the automated plant technology, as well as Vedic Pac-Systems Pvt. Ltd, who is the representative of the German plant manufacturer in India.
The masala plant, which is located at Mumbai, is India’s first ever fully-automated masala plant. It was designed specially by AZO GmbH, Germany, to involve minimal manual handling of the spices. The entire automated facility, which comprises of sophisticated pneumatic conveying systems and ingredient automation technology, was designed and supplied to Everest by AZO GmbH, through their representatives in India, Vedic Pac- Systems, who also look after the pre and post sales services,.
The advanced pneumatic conveying systems are customized to suit the spice manufacturing process, enabling the spice manufacturer to produce various spice blends using 24 key ingredients. The filling of the 24 ingredients in silos is done by a pressure conveying system, a type of pneumatic conveying system, which is a completely closed loop and therefore, dust free.
