Hello fellow Sifki shippers! The Loki series just had its one year anniversary and starts shooting S2 soon, and Love and Thunder is just weeks away! So why not dive head first into these exciting times for our favorite space vikings? Sifki Week 2022 is here!

How does it work? Each day of the week will come with two general prompt to give you inspiration for your work. You can follow the prompt(s) as loosely or closely, as literal or abstract as you want; prompts are mainly there to give you a starting point to create from. Or you can completely ignore the prompts if you don’t feel particularly inspired but have your own great idea. You can also submit for as many or as few days as you’d like, and creations can be any length or size. We want to see as much new fan work in the fandom as possible, so don’t feel limited. The schedule for this year’s celebration is as follows: 

Day 1 (Sunday July 17th) - Battle | Bond

Day 2 (Monday July 18th)  - Time | Temptation

Day 3 (Tuesday July 19th) - Captive | Costume

Day 4 (Wednesday July 20th) - Persuasion | Permission

Day 5 (Thursday July 21st) - Soulmate | Stranger

Day 6 (Friday July 22nd) - Dare | Deadly

Day 7 (Saturday July 23rd) - Expecting | Exile

What’s acceptable? Fics, Artwork, Graphics, Manips, Gisfsets, Videos, Playlists, Moodboards, Aesthetics, Headcanons, and pretty much anything else!

To participate, please mention @sifkiweek in your post and tag your work with #sifkiweek22 in the first 5 tags (and tag all mature, not work safe stuff with the appropriate tags). We ask that Loki/Sif be the main pairing for your work. Each day we will reblog the creations, and encourage you to do the same. Loki looked down at the intricately knotted rope that encircled the whole of his forearm and covered his hand. His right hand and Sif’s left hand. Although it was loose enough that he could turn his wrist, it was still not ideal to be bound together with one of the most deadly women in all the nine realms.

Update! Chapter 2

After suffering one more rejection from Prince Thor on a ball in Asgard, Lady Sif wandered heartbrokenly through the lower area of the palace. She did not imagine that that simple action would change her life forever. One does not come across a Jotun every day and even less with the prince of Jontunheim himself.

Initially this was for last year, things happened,  but I came back very motivated! Thanks to my beta and friend @benjami-n

The Fountain

Written for @sifkiweek day three prompt of costume. Also posted on AO3.

Loki was used to rising early and had kept the habit even though his days now looked much different than they had Loki was used to rising early and had kept the habit even though his days now looked much different than they had before his second death, before his fall.

Dawn was just breaking over the horizon when he slipped from the palace and walked down a winding path that led to a grassy hill just outside the royal grounds. Dust and pollen floated on the air, turned golden in the early sunlight’s glow. He walked the familiar path through the botanical garden, barely glancing at the colorful blooms, until he reached the old stone fountain tucked between two softly swaying trees.

Hesitating only a moment, Loki stepped until he could see his reflection in the pool. But it was not his face that looked back. No, it was still a costume. Odin’s wisened visage peered out through the shimmering water. Slowly, he brought a hand down to hover above the image and then let long fingers break the surface with a small ripple. The stolen face was contorted then and he moved his hand in a quick motion to fully wipe the mask away.

On top of the waves now stared a pale face with dark hair, warped and rolling on the waves. But underneath his true reflection lay an assortment of coins, fallen from the hands of children.

Loki was not one to ever wish on pennies in the fountain. In fact, he always thought his brother quite silly - holding his coin firmly between two palms and whispering his secrets to the copper or gold before letting it tumble into the fountain’s pool. Loki had laughed at Thor’s belief that such an act could do anything, could mean anything more than wasted money.

But that day in the morning sun, alone in the garden, Loki plunged his hand deep into his own pocket. He looked down at the metal held in his palm, a silver coin that shined just as bright as a warrior’s armor. Armor attached to a woman that he had sent away while wearing the costume of a king. Sif, whom he could no longer observe with Heimdall and his golden eyes in exile.

His palms cradled and encircled the coin for a moment. He thought only of her and left his money in the pool. As he turned away from the fountain, all that currency of hope glowing and glinting, he wondered what would become of her.

Wondered what had become of him.

What they could have been.

“I am in the market for some… semen,” the actress in the romcom said.

Loki squeezed his eyes shut, and tried to take a deep steadying breath but his heart was not having it as it continued to beat far too quickly. This cannot be happening… he told himself, but it was to no avail. The movie was still running and he could feel in his bones that the topic was not going to change anytime soon. Maybe he could sit it out? Maybe he was strong enough to ignore it all? Maybe he could try and focus on something else for two hours?

“I need you to help me find some,” she continued.

No. He could not do it.
