Speaking of the Bontades though, the hat reminded me of another situation. Magnús, one of @swabianmapley's OCs for the LFLS-verse, sometimes mentions his Irish heritage. He's Icelandic, so we're talking an incredibly small population who can trace those roots back eons ago, when emigration from Scotland and Ireland/Viking raids bringing over slaves or indentured servants weren't uncommon. All this info to say:

And that's why Magnús always complains to his girlfriend Freyja that none of these people are normal.
