Hornet Silksong for the new DTYIS challenge by @creatingblackcharacters!! :^D

I loved doing this one I had so much fun!! I wanted to do the lovely bug lady justice, I hope y'all like it! I don't know too much about Hollow Knight, but I think it's very cute!!

To start, I had a few styles in mind, but I settled on two large braids styled like the horn shaping of her mask, with silver clips at the ends, and her hair is also white like her mask!

I gave her a deep and vibrant brown skintone and I like to think it shimmers like hornets and bees do!

I kept her outfit relatively the same, but I gave her some really cool knee-high matching boots!! I also tried to give her heels the needle-like shape her feet have in canon, idk how well it worked lol

Her eyes a midnight brown, and if you look closer at them, there is a bit of pattern I put there to resembles a hornets eyes!

I gave her freckles I love freckles and I think she looks so adorable with them 💛 :^DD

I give all my own bug ocs sharp teeth, so I did the same here, and also added a cute set of silver grills and also some earrings!

Gave her some lip gloss and while you can only tell by one visible nail! Her nails are painted 😌🫶

THE ICONIC SONIC AND SHADOW :^DD For @creatingblackcharacters's newest DTIYS!!

So I am not IN the sonic fandom,but I have a lot of love for it and many of my friends are or have been into it, so I was really excited to do this one!

First I decided on hair styles- I LOVE liberty spikes, so I picked two different variations of it for both of them! Shadow has a mohawk, I added on the signature red coloring as well! For Sonic I chose a shorter, full-head spikes, and of course he's sporting that bright iconic sonic blue!

Ice gave us three skin tones to choose from, I chose the last two to work with!

Gave Shadow a little bit of eye makeup, I had to include his red details!!

I couldn't NOT give them their shoes and gloves, it's essential!

I gave them both earrings, they're supposed to be reminiscent of the gold rings!!

For Shadow's outfit, I wanted to incorporate his chest fur somehow, so I gave him a fur lining! The red turtleneck he's wearing is sleeveless (every goth has worn a sleeveless turtleneck at one point in their life it's the rules)

For Sonic's outfit, I took some inspiration from Sportacus!! A fun matching hoodie and sweatpants, and his hood has two points that are fashioned to look like the quills on his back!

The latest DTIYS by @creatingblackcharacters!! I WAS SO EXCITED ABT THIS ONE I'VE ALWAYS LOVED ELMO SO MUCH!!! Elmo and Big Bird are my favorites!!

To start, I planned out his outfit to fit the color theme of the logo!! I matched his little shoes and durag to the iconic Elmo red, which I think really ties the whole look together!

Next I gave him a dark and vibrant brown skin tone, and big brown eyes! As a child, when watching different kids cartoons, I always thought Elmo and Little Bill were similar in personality, they were both very joyful and funny, so I did take some inspiration from Little Bill as well!!

I hope y'all like my take on a human design for Elmo, I had a lot of fun creating this design and remembering how much I love Sesame Street and the cartoons I watched as a kid!

A while back I commissioned @phoenix-before-the-flame to draw Black Ace!! Their design is so gorgeous I had to draw it! It took a minute bc I've changed jobs and a lot of stuff happened BUT I got to it today!! He is so beautiful Im giggling and kicking my feet heeheemsjhhegsghf

Their commissions are open!! I highly recommend, they are very talented and wonderful to work with!!
