Some more “Edge of solstice” thoughts:

I still haven’t decided if Alrick Dayne shall meet his canon fate (that is if he’ll be dead by 299 AC). On one hand, I really would rather not. But on the other hand, at least the way I’m conceptualizing him, he’s clearly in the wrong genre, and hence is unlikely to make it in the long term :/

Currently trying to write a long Elia Martell x Baelor Hightower AU fic, exploring their life together from right after their first meeting and going through a couple decades of their marriage, and I’m running into a weirdest roadblock figuring out who their four children will get married to.

For the two youngest, a girl (born circa 286) and a boy (born circa 289), I’m thinking Edric Dayne (b. 287) and Alysanne Bulwer (b. 291). Edric for obvious reasons bearing Dayne and all that, and Alysanne since she is the head of her house Bulwer, a Hightower bannerman, after her father’s death.

For the two oldest, a girl (b. 276) and a boy (b. 280), I’m not actually sure. I’d imagine that it won’t be difficult to get the daughter married to some lord paramount (but I’m not sure I like any of the potential prospects), or take a daughter of a lord paramount as a wife for the son, but there seems to be a shortage of daughters of suitable age. Sigh, this is more difficult than I though.

I guess my perception here is affected by the fact that I view Ella’s two older children as esstially “Rhaenys” and “Aegon” (except for the fact that they weren’t born from Rhaegar, which is only a plus in my book), and I love Rhaenys x Robb and Aegon x Margaery, but in this AU “aegon” and Margaery will be cousins, and I’m highly doubting that “Rhaenys” will find herself/will want to go to the North.

Why is this difficult, sigh.

I’m so torn rn, on one hand I really wanna write a Jean x Pieck post canon fic, but on the other hand my love for Hisoillu has been reignited and I kind of want to write about them too.

I kinda want to change my url but I'm not sure into what because most of the usernames I've thought of are taken. also I might be a bit too attached to idealistinside since I've had it for over four years hahah

Sometimes I just really really wanna change my theme like I've had this one for like a year and 1/2

and I've had that background like since I started this blog

like I just want to change it to all blue and pretty and Frozen-y

but then I'm just like nope I can never change my theme I love it too much
