Chapter 138 was quite the read.

- I really liked the way Mikasa killing Eren was written. It was what GoT show runners attempted to do with J killing D, but imo done SO MUCH better. For one because E’s descent into “madness” in snk is much more believable than whatever it was that happened with D, but also because there is emotional depth and gravitas to E&M relationship that I never felt was there in the J&D relationship. 

- Jean and Connie deserve so much better and I’d hate to see them die in such a way so late in the game. But I’m also kinda glad my other faves namely Sasha and Hange aren’t there to experience this horror.
