Azure hues spark, brightening for a second as the girl watches the stranger standing at the doorstep of the manor, having opened the door before wood was even knocked upon.

“I won't last three months without it,”
Her phone had been her protection, Sherlock knew that when he stripped her of it. Though, despite the trembling ache it had induced in her, she could hardly blame him. After all, she had been the one to play him first, but in the end he must have the victory. Of course, if he didn't crave the win as desperately as she did, suppose she would not feel the way she did about him. Though Irene had gotten more caught up in the game than she had intended, foolish girl to let her heart make that decision. That would've been the beauty of it though, and she just couldn't resist at the time.
Five months, The Woman had managed to last five rather than the three she had originally intended. After all, not all the friends she had made were simply resutlts of blackmail, and she was a very persuasive and clevere woman. Despite the fact that she had been confident in her plans, even she would not act without a plan B. Irene had multiple passports hidden in 44 Eaton Place and as soon as Kate had gotten them to her, she vanished seemingly without a trace. Though she was still hunted.
Which had led to this very moment. After all the months of running, this was it. This was really and truly it. There was some small slice of her that was almost glad that the lonely stuggle was over. Sure, she could try to escape now, but she was outnumbered. But she wouldn't go without saying goodbye.
Only one phone in the world made that sound. Instantly her heart swelled, and it seemed a little ray of hope had shone through to the dimness of this moment. But did he seriously think that she would run? Well, he certainly couldn't figure her out could he? Instead, with that self satisfied smile on her face and not a trace of fear she stood up, bashing one of her attacked in the face and wrestling the sword out of his hand before driving it through his stomach and moving to her next victim.
