Something I dislike about the fandom... aw, cripes.

The Marvel fandom is actually one of the more positive fandoms I've been in for the most part. I think any problems the fandom has are derived entirely from the material the studios gives us. If anything, I'd say it's the invalidation of female characters and M/F ships in order to have M/M ships.

Don't get me wrong, I love M/M ships, and I agree that non-heterosexual couples of all varieties need more attention, but when Jane, or Sif or Pepper or any other female character gets taken out of character just so that Thorki or FrostIron can be a thing infuriates me. These amazing women already get the short end of the stick so much by the creators, I feel it's our duty as the fandom to give them more of the attention they deserve.

He saw it now, the truth of it. and he couldn't argue that they weren't right in trying to drive them apart. Gods know her suffering would have been made less. "I tried to let you go."

Here is voice was just a little softer; telling of his turmoil. "Then where were you when I was locked in that cell?" Such a selfish question.

"Under Odin's eye!" she snapped. "Every move I made was watched, he wouldn't let you see your mother, why would he allow you my presence! And you know I can't cast illusions as you can!" She was on the verge of tears now. "I tried to smuggle you messages, to sneak down to see you, but I was always caught!"

"—I did what I had to. It's not like Thor made it a point to bring my body home. What reason did I have to return? My wife he left me? My lovely cell?"

"I did not leave you! How dare you even suggest that!"

"So now you're mad at me." He snorted. "You're mad that I was honest."

"Honest. You fake your death, disappear and leave me behind, then just start showing up in my dreams, and you think I'm angry that you're being honest? Dear Valhalla, I need a drink..."

"Sweet Harry, you know nothing of temptresses. My... acquaintances in my own realm fit such a description far more aptly than I." The very thought of Amora or Lorelei sinking their claws into her Henry made Sigyn's blood boil. "Besides, you're proving a very poor Christian if you cannot resist me."
