You walked into the lab with a certain glow and made your way towards your office. The events of last night still seemed surreal and you couldn’t help to notice the emptiness of not wearing the ring that Harry had placed on it the night before.
The rest of Team Flash knew that you and Harry had been seeing each other, but due to the fact that Harry Wells preferred keeping his private life, well private, they didn’t know many details. At first, it seemed a little strange to have to hide your happiest moments from your closest friends, but it didn’t take long to enjoy the fact that you and Harry had something special. You two had moments that were only shared with each other, and it made certain aspects feel even more special.
Which brought you where you were today, newly engaged to Harry Wells, the love your life, and you couldn’t help but think how ridiculously lucky you were to be in your shoes. A knock at the door grabbed your attention and speak of the devil, there he was.
“Good Morning,” Harry said with his raspy morning voice. Even though you spent the night with each other, you were happy to see him walking towards you. “I made you some coffee.”
“Have I ever told you how much I love you,” you smiled and placed a kiss on his lips.
Harry took a step back and reached into his pocket. “You forgot this.” Harry held your ring between his fingers and handed it towards you.
“I know I did, I thought we decided to keep this between us for a little bit.”
“I know we did,” Harry lovingly grabbed your hand and slid the ring back on your finger. “But this is where it belongs.”
“They’re going to know,” you blushed looking at your fiancee. Oh that word, fiancee. You were never going to get used to that.
“Let ‘em know, let the whole world know.”
You walked out of your office, your left hand feeling heavier as you greeted the team.
“(Y/N), is that-” Iris smiled.
