The Silco Magazine Project

I’m currently developing a fan project centered around Silco and the fandom.

The idea is to create a curated, magazine-style space that brings together fan art, writing, analysis, and other forms of creative work — something more structured and intentional than the usual scattered posts across platforms.

The format is still evolving and not yet finalized, but the direction is clear. We’re building this as a non-commercial, fan-made project, created for the fandom and by the fandom. All materials included will be shared only with the creator’s explicit permission whenever possible. Respect for artists and writers is a priority.

The project is collaborative and long-term. We’re currently looking for people who would like to take part in shaping it — writers, artists, editors, or anyone interested in contributing to the process.

This will be a drama-free space. Clear boundaries and mutual respect are essential to keep the project focused and sustainable.

Please note: this project is intended for participants aged 18 and over.

Due to the themes explored and the nature of some materials that may be included, we’ve chosen to keep the space within an adult audience. This helps ensure a comfortable and appropriate environment for both creators and contributors.

Hey Silco fandom!

I’m aware that a handful of people are upset with mine and other writers’ Silco x Reader fics which are tagged as gender neutral, and don’t feel that they are inclusive.

Just wanted to say that the best way to see the change you want to see in the fandom is by opening a genuine and friendly conversation about the topic directly with the creators. Work with us to help make sure content is inclusive for everyone, or is at least tagged in a way that’s safe for readers.

I would hate for people to feel uncomfortable or triggered while reading my stories, and I know my other writer friends would too. We are all always always open to learning how to do better, and improve our work to make the fandom safe and fun for everybody.

However, what doesn’t inspire me to cater to people is passive aggression and backhanded bitchiness. If you have a critique, then be ready and willing to offer constructive feedback and advice. And if you do offer feedback and advice, then for fuck’s sake don’t finish the post with a snarky comment. Who ever wants to do anything for anyone who’s rude?

I want to reiterate, my inbox and askbox are always open. I welcome polite and fair critiques and suggestions, so if anyone thinks my fics are tagged incorrectly, or that I’ve utilised exclusive language, or have perpetuated a harmful stereotype etc. then please tell me. Give me specifics. Allow me to actually learn and grow ✍️

This is gonna sound sappy for no reason but watching Arcane and being in the Silco fandom reignited my will to do art. I gave up traditional art in general about 2-3 years ago and am on a break from my Graphic Design degree; like I'm literally on the verge of dropping it because of a lot of personal reasons. But I said fuck it, got out my sketchbook and tablet and have been drawing everyday since I started. Progress is slow but its getting there.
